My name is Deborah, and I am the creator of Slimmstudio, founded in 2019. My passion for art began in elementary school. In middle school, my art teacher recognized my talent and invited me paint a mural on the school wall, my first real introduction to paint. Years later, in 2019, my mom gifted me a paint set for Christmas, reigniting my creativity and ultimately leading to the creation of Slimmstudio. I am a multidisciplinary artist specializing in custom sneakers, paintings, rug tufting, fashion design, and more. My work is all about transforming everyday pieces into bold, meaningful art. I have always been drawn to DIY projects, fashion and expressing myself through style, so combining clothing with art felt like a natural fit. Every piece I create is a statement, something personal, expressive and intentional. The name Slimmstudio comes from two parts: “Slimm,” a nod to my petite stature, and “studio,” representing a creative space where ideas come to life.
